What is the Vision Connection Roadshow?
The Vision Connection Roadshow is an annual event series designed to bring together independent optometry practices, suppliers, and industry partners. It takes place in key cities across Australia.
In 2026, the Roadshow introduces a refreshed format focused on interactive discussions, practical insights, and meaningful collaboration helping practices work through real business challenges.
How is this different from previous Roadshows?
This year’s Roadshow moves away from its traditional setup and instead focuses on a more intimate, roundtable-based format.
You’ll be part of small-group discussions, sharing ideas and learning from both peers and supplier partners in a more engaging and practical environment.
What are the roundtable sessions?
Roundtable sessions are small-group discussions centred around key topics relevant to independent practices.
Each table will include a mix of participants and a supplier partner, working together to share insights, experiences, and ideas.
How much does it cost to attend?
It’s completely free! There’s no cost to attend, but spots are limited so, registration is essential.
Will there be networking opportunities?
Yes, networking remains a key part of the Roadshow, with dedicated time to connect with peers, suppliers, and industry partners. If you are attending OSHOW in Melbourne this August, we have a social event happening the day before.
Why are Roadshows only listed for Perth and Brisbane this year?
This year we are doing things a little differently – bringing our community together around on of the big national industry events – OShow. While this means we won’t be hosting Sydney this year, it allows us to try a new format that brings together members, supplier partners and guests in one place.

This year we are doing things a little different. While in Melbourne for O-SHOW26 we will be having a kick-off gathering for members, suppliers and guests. We then move to our exclusive one day Roadshow events in Perth and Brisbane.
