Vision Connection participated in UNSW Industry Day, an annual student careers event that brings together optometry and vision science students with membership groups, corporate employers, and selected industry partners to explore career opportunities, professional support, and life after university.

 

Representing Vision Connection, Joanne Scott-Dostine, Vision Connection’s CEO, met with students throughout the day, sharing insights into independent optometry, discussing the benefits of working in independent practice, and introducing the support available through Vision Connection.

 

The event provided students with the opportunity to network directly with industry professionals, ask questions about different career pathways, and learn more about the diverse opportunities available across independent optometry. It also gave Vision Connection the chance to connect with future graduates and continue building relationships that support the next generation of independent eye care professionals.
